Terminator Christmas
Toby called me a liar. ‘You’re a liar!’ he said.
Why would you say that I asked him?
He said, ‘You told me you took this picture of the star on top of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree on Christmas night and we just saw on the Hawkeye TV Show that the tree got knocked down on Christmas Eve. The tree and the star were rolling around on the skating rink. There’s no way they could have gotten it put back up in just one day!’
I told him that was just a TV show and not everything you see on TV actually happened.
He wasn’t convinced and said he thought the star was watching him. He thought it looked like a Terminator device and hoped the Avengers would keep an eye on it in case it started making trouble.
I tried to tell him he was mixing up his fake universes but he had already left to fire up his Bat-Signal.
