Jetson's House

I fully expected to see flying cars coming out of this penthouse in Frankfurt. I told Toby that it looked like the Jetson’s House and he wanted to know who that was supposed to be. I went to Google and was surprised to find out there was only one season in 1962 before it was remade in the mid-1980s. It was in syndication forever, so I had thought it had run much longer.

I told him about Astro, the mechanical dog from the show and he said he would never be replaced by a robot. ‘Would a robot dog be loyal or protective,’ he asked?

I didn’t have the heart to tell him that as a Golden Retriever he was neither of those things…
