Captivation
Toby and I were walking home when we saw these daffodils. He said, “They remind me of the lilies of the field. They toil not, neither do they spin. I cannot eat them. I see no practical use for them.” I said that was either a very bastardized version of Mr Spock’s commentary on Tribbles or a poor use of Matthew 6:28. He looked back at me and said, “What do you mean? I just turned that phrase. I’m a very lyrical poet.” I told him that for a golden retriever he had a lot of Chutzpah.
