Bread and Circuses
I was walking through London last summer and took this photo looking up in the middle of Wellington Arch. I was listening to the excellent History of Rome podcast by Mike Duncan and decided this is what an iMax screen would have looked like in ancient Rome. With apologies to the game maker Total War for borrowing their artwork, for a moment I feel like I’m seeing history.
